Due to factors such as performing in crowded public settings, travel, sometimes lack of health insurance, etc, Covid-19 is affecting our music community at higher rates than the general population. In addition, many venues are now requiring vaccinations for entry. Care about our musicians? Wanna get the music scene jumping again? Then go get vaccinated 🙂 Fortunately, Covid-19 vaccines are now widely available

General tips on scoring a vax:
Check with your primary care provider / clinic / hospital where you usually receive care
Check with your local city / county / state health departments. Chicago will even do a house call!
Major pharmacy retailers like Walgreens, CVS, Walmart, Osco, Mariano’s, Costco are all doing vaccines
Some neighborhood pharmacies are doing vaccines
People in Long Term Care (Nursing Homes, Assisted Living Facilities) are often being offered vaccines on site by Walgreens & CVS
